Goodnight, Seletar (2025) is an ongoing documentation of 7 Seletar Farmway 6, an industrial site home to two adopted Singapore Specials, a pet peacock, a former banana plantation and various Landscaping occupants.
Beneath the outskirts of residential Seletar, this quaint worksite occupies a space no larger than the private residential estate opposite.
Established in the early 80’s, the present site is due for reclamation to the city’s Land Authority this March, capturing the final weeks that survive this idyllic, kampong-like community.
Progressively, the land tethers towards a strange limbo that is caught between its present state of disuse, and a speculative state of redevelopment.
This photo series confronts the land’s contention between its past and future, as housings of its fading past are backdropped against a newer, modern reality.
